(Karina and Rob) have done a superb job of selecting and arranging a truly outstanding collection of very worthwhile stories in the Christian SF genre – which is an extremely valuable thing to do.  Literature is a vital part of life – whether we get it down from the net, or thumb the pages while commuting.  Writing and reading are still essential mechanisms for exchanging creative thought – and of all exciting, creative thought processes, science fiction and fantasy offer most opportunities.

As a Christian Priest in the Church in Wales, as well as a science fiction writer and researcher of the paranormal, I recommend Leaps of Faith without reservation or hesitation of any kind.  Speculative literature with an unashamed Christian background is challenging and genuinely thought-provoking.  In a world that needs sense and stability, along with fearlessly free imagination, what better literary combination can there be than an anthology of superbly written science fiction stories?  Well done, editors and contributors alike!

A well-written fictional ride into other worlds where the good guys believe in God. Linda Hutchinson

“What if …” resounds strongly in each and every one of these stories jump-starting the reader’s own thoughts and opinions while at the same time introducing us to new and original ideas... Each of these stories challenges the reader to step out of the narrow, comfortable box we automatically tend to put God and instead, open up our head and our hearts to the limitless expanse of time and space. I would encourage you to read Leaps of Faith whether you are a science fiction aficionado or not.

Again and again I have marveled at the creativity of the imaginations behind the far-flung worlds contained within these pages... Do yourself a favour and let these unusual stories expand the horizons of your soul.

In Leaps of Faith, I find several satisfying stories with that extra bang. These are exclusively science fiction, sometimes rather heavy on the science, but even so this very unscientific mind of mine was able to get into the meat of the tales and enjoy them. The real joy is in that leap of faith included in each entry, leaps that often mean the reader needs to stretch his or her own box a bit. God does not fit in a box, of course, and I love stories that make me ponder who God really is and all the "what ifs" that are posed in speculative fiction.

Leaps of Faith does not fit into a neat little cubbyhole, but then neither does God. And if you think of God in a box, you really need to expand your horizons a bit. I recommend Leaps of Faith as a handy way to do just that. I hope you will give it a try. You'll be glad you took that little leap yourself.

The stories are all well written, it is good solid sci-fi from the get to the go. Well edited, attractively packaged, this book is a great read at a bargain price for all that you get. Buy it, no matter what your spiritual beliefs are.

Leaps has it all. Action, adventure, some pretty cool science fiction gizmo-gazmos, romance, humor and my personal favorites, a futuristic order of nuns!... Full of twists, turns, surprises and some memorable characters, this anthology will be a keeper!

Seldom does a book come along like Leaps Of Faith, where science fiction is blended with Christianity to produce excellent stories to inspire and enjoy. Karina and Robert Fabian, editors, have brought together several stories written by as many authors, that are based on the Christian faith.

The book was a real delight to read, and the authors wrote their stories well. It was easy to become immersed in each tale as they followed one common theme. Some were not as jubilant and happy, but each posessed an important moral, or lesson to be learned.

In some of the stories the authors had clearly studied and researched modern (and ultra-modern) technology, or had been educated in that particular area. Above all, the mixing of Christianity was a very refreshing change from the norm.

I give Leaps Of Faith two thumbs up, and I look forward to similar works in the future. To Karina and Robert I say, well done.
